农业私人资本经营不太好，下面本人谈谈理由，供大家参考。

一、对私人资本经营者不好。因为农业高风险低收益，私人资本经营必然多亏本。比如，农户种粮食，根本不赚钱。农民增加收入主要靠打工等。

二、对农业产业健康发展不好。因为私人资本经营必然追求利润最大化，这对资本而言是合理的，但对农业是有危害的。比如，一些农业企业让牛肉生长速度更快，让植物生长速度更快等，都是对动植物的伤害，且生产的产品质量不高。

三、对城里人健康消费不好。除非私人资本生产的农产品自己吃，才可能有产品质量保障。比如，一些农户，提供给城里人吃的农产品，与给自己家人吃的农产品，在种植和养殖方式上，是不一样的。由于农产品质量识别成本高，城里人要识别农产品质量必然较难。

四、若农业赚大钱，肯定社会福利受损。因为农业私人资本经营要赚大钱，除非两种情况。一种情况是农产品极度短缺，粮价飞涨；一种情况是私人资本对所生产的农产品高度垄断。这两种情况必然导致全社会福利受损。

五、对国家安全不好。粮食是重要的战略武器，若一个私人资本控制了一个国家的粮食，也就等于控制了一个国家的政权。

所以，农业更多是一个市场弱势产业和市场失灵产业，同时，又是一个国家最重要的产业，这客观需要国家直接经营，或是国家一定要进行全面调控和保护。由于不同国家有不同的农业要素特点，所以，农业如何国家直接经营，或国家如何进行全面调控和保护，还需要因地制宜选择合适的经营方式或调控方式或保护方式。

当然，对于一些不涉及国计民生的特殊农产品，或只是针对少数群体需求的农产品，私人资本也是可以经营的。
